Saturday was the longest run I've ever attempted...
the night before I was restless, and had nightmares of bears chasing us through the canyon. (on a good note, there are no bears in our area, so no worries) I knew I could go 18 miles, the distance wasn't what scared me, it was my knee, and letting the kiddies down (not my own, obvi...I'm a running coach for a non-profit that trains middle school kids for marathons. We ROCK!) So..the knee held up for the most part, and i was able to keep up with the kids just fine. all is good. Now on to 20 :)
