Elephant Parades

I don't thinks I can say this enough, but I really do love where I live.  

We found out that Dana Point was hosting an elephant parade, that started this weekend.  (At first I thought there were real elephants parading around DP, one can dream)  The sculptures are apparently all over town, but we only checked out the herd at Doheny State Beach.

Explorin'

This whole California thing just keeps getting better...

For months/(years) I have been begging Jordan to take me up to Big Sur, but unfortunately we never had an extra day to "waste" for the drive.  This past weekend we had a planned trip to San Francisco to visit friends, the night before we left, Jordan had surprised me and let me know we were going to be taking the coast all the way up...  

Let's just say i was happier than a buddy the elf @ Christmas time.

One Year.

One year from today I will be a Mrs. to this guy - 

 

When we got back from our Engagementmoon about a month ago, we started our search for the perfect venue.  The Ocean Institute was our first stop, and we instantly fell in love.  There were a handful of other options, but something kept drawing us back to this location. 

Today we dropped off our deposit and the paperwork to reserve our date.  

June 21, 2014. Best Day Ever!

Last night we stopped by around 7:30 to see the lighting. 

Fingers crossed this is what we see next year!
